CAAPA CHAMBER ENSEMBLE

The CAAPA Chamber Ensemble is the musical entity of the Coalition for African Americans in the Performing Arts (CAAPA) performing as the elite chamber music ensemble (trio or quartet), showcasing a variety classical music by both Black composers and those of the European influence.  The goal is to showcase as much as possible Black composers and classical music reflecting the African diaspora. Founded in 2019, the Chamber Ensemble strives for excellence. Under the direction of Music Director Jordan Johnson, to help in “Bringing Color to the Classics” the ensemble enjoys partnering and collaborating in CAAPA projects.  Additional CAAPA Ensembles include the CAAPA Jazz Ensemble and the CAAPA Chorale.
