COALITION FOR AFRICAN AMERICANS IN THE PERFORMING ARTS

"Bringing Color to the Classics"
REACH: INTERNATIONAL OUTREACH PROGRAM

CAAPA’s International Outreach Program brings exciting and culturally diverse performance opportunities to the community and underserved population.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Providing a vibrant musical experience, CAAPA's newly formed International Outreach Program (IOP), brings exciting and culturally diverse performance opportunities to the community and under-served population, while marrying Black classical musicians and others in the performing arts.

Exciting programming  such as concerts, recitals, festivals, panels, workshops, exchanges, musical performances, and more.  The International Outreach Program will target diverse populations in elementary, middle and high schools, camps, youth programs, as well as adult audiences, seniors.   Travel, cuisine, and costume experiences will also be incorporated and experienced in a vivacious and colorful way!

CAAPA has recently partnered with culturally diverse international arts organizations, including:

  • Bel Canto Singers of the Bahamas
  • Consulate General of the Bahamas
  • Allegro School for the Arts (Freeport, Bahamas)
  • Bahamas Ministry of Tourism
  • Korean American Cultural Arts Foundation (KACAF)

Future plans include partnering with foreign dignitaries, embassies, global leaders, ambassadors, arts organizations, and advocates throughout the world.
