About Pamela Simonson Parker

Soprano, Deputy Director & Education Director

Pamela Simonson is an accomplished Soprano who has graced stages at San Francisco Opera, Lyric Chicago Opera, and Washington National Opera in productions including Porgy and Bess, Tosca, Lucia di Lammermoor, and Così fan tutte.

As CAAPA's Deputy Director and Education Director, Pamela channels her performance expertise into nurturing the next generation through CAAPA Camp and K-8 music education. She holds degrees from the Eastman School of Music and Manhattan School of Music. Together with her brother Victor, they've been recognized as the "Only African American Brother-Sister Classical Vocal Duet in the United States."
